From a baby’s first splash to the demands of elite competition, every stage matters. At Mauro Swim Team, we combine patient teaching, purposeful coaching and sport science to help swimmers build confidence, improve technique and keep progressing.

Our pathway connects learn to swim, stroke development and competitive squads, with opportunities for National and Olympic-level performance. Adult and Masters swimmers can train toward their own goals too.

Founded by Peter Mauro — a Sport Science Honours graduate and mathematics teacher — our programme draws on a coaching record of over 120 National Champions or higher since 2002.

Swim year-round in our 25-metre indoor heated pool at 888 Hunter Street, Newcastle West.
